Lauren has been commissioned by the iitdesignbuild program to develop multiple mixed-media exhibitions to celebrate significant milestones, achievements, and recognition of the program.

In 2024, the iitdesignbuild program celebrated its ten year anniversary. Lauren provided creative direction for the design of the exhibition as well as curatorial oversight. She also developed branded collateral (both print and digital) that was referential of the completed design build projects.
*With the exception of the projects outlined in the storytelling section of this site, project photography for design-build projects was provided by others.

In 2018, the founder and lead professor of the iitdesignbuild program, Frank Flury, was recognized with the Board of Trustee Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award. Lauren was commissioned to develop an exhibition that showcases the breadth of Frank’s work and that celebrates his dedication and commitment to Illinois Tech.
