Program Development / Event Production & Coordination

Lauren served as the Manager of Public Programs & Partnerships for the 2019 Edition of the Chicago Architecture Biennial (CAB). Lauren built out the partnership framework, managed the program calendar, produced numerous events, panel discussions, workshops, and film screenings, managed an NEA funded pin-up space, and worked with over 100 partners/partner sites to promote affiliated programs and events.

To support programming efforts of the Biennial, Lauren provided oversight of productions, workshops, and panel discussions, managed registration, coordinated AV and technology needs, developed presentations, and at times managed food and beverage requirements.

*Visual identity designed by Studio ELLA. Programming focused releases written in partnership with in-house marketing personnel, Agency H5, & Camron PR.

Biennial Pin-up Space
Program Development / Partnership Management / Curatorial Direction & Scheduling / Communication Strategy / Installation Coordination

Part of the 2019 Edition of the Chicago Architecture Biennial’s Pin-up Program, the Biennial Pin-up Space was located in the Welcome Center of the Biennial Resource Hub just off the Randolph entrance of the Chicago Cultural Center. This community-focused exhibition space was managed by Lauren and supported by the generosity of the National Endowment for the Arts, featuring a rotating gallery of eleven temporary exhibitions.

In addition to managing public programs, Lauren was commissioned to photograph numerous events and experiences for use in Biennial marketing and archival material. Events ranged from guided tours to competition jury days to panel discussions to site visits and dinners.
